WCGB - TITUS TROPHY WINNER 2013
TRUBON FLYSSE TREVIVE (b)
(Haselunne Housemaster ex Trubon Chyna Treasa (Re-Imp)
Born: 11.4.11. Stud book no: 3551CX
Trubon Flysse Trevive has managed to win the Titus Trophy for the Best Working Weimaraner of the Year on her own this year, after a joint win with her stablemate Trubon Delta Truffe in 2012.
First given to the WCGB by Mr and Mrs Trevor Horsefield in 1978, the magnificent Titus Trophy has been awarded to the Trubon girls 11 times, 9 years consecutively with 5 different dogs.
It is an honour to win out outright this year with Young Flysse, who was only two years old during the season in which she accrued her points.
An easy-going ‘happy thug’, she does nothing half heartedly, and loves retrieving and water work, as well as hunting and pointing.
In April 2013, she was graded ‘Very Good’ and ‘Good’ from the Junior category in Spring Pointing Tests, hunting on root crops. In the summer she was placed 4th in the GSPA Open Working Test.
She had a successful and consistent field trial season from October – gaining 2 All Aged awards and 5 Novice awards, culminating in a 1st Place at the Dukeries Novice trial in December, qualifying her in to Open Field Trials.
She spent the rest of the season in the shooting field, being shot over, picking up, and on the peg with me, along with Delta.
